If photography is your interest, a hike to the top of Mt. Kineo offers a panoramic view of Moosehead Lake and the surrounding mountain ranges. Getting some great shots of wildlife can be as easy as riding the back roads, hiking last year's snowmobile trails or taking a wildlife cruise.

If "birdwatching" is your passion you can see from our backyard list that the area sustains many species. There are miles of last years snowmobile trails to hike for sightings of our woods friends. Two nesting pairs of peregrine falcons can be seen on the back side of Kineo, the loons arrive in the spring, and our bald eagles can be spotted looking for supper along the Moose River.
